Thousands of volunteers are rallying to transform San Francisco into Gotham City to fulfill the wish of a five-year-old leukemia patient who dreams of being ‘Batkid’ for a day.

When Miles Scott told the Make-A-Wish Foundation he wanted to become Batkid, the organization never dreamed so many volunteers would jump on board.

“He is a bright, positive, little boy who finds inspiration in super-heroes. Miles told Make-A-Wish he wanted to be Batkid, and today is his big day,” the Make-A-Wish Foundation said in a statement.

The mayor, police, politicians and thousands of volunteers, including one who donated a Lamborghini, have all pitched in to turn San Francisco into Gotham City for Miles.
